Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andreas Bertsch took the kick off in the first half of the match. Helmut Gehl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Thieße in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Vechta FSV's goalkeeper Helmut Gehl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Thieße. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Bertsch in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmut Gehl saved Vechta FSV from getting behind. Mark Thieße fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Gehl having to interfere. In the 15th minute Henrik Vollberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Blauwink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mark Thieße had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helmut Gehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Bertsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Thieße in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Helmut Gehl, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 25 played minutes Vechta FSV got a freekick which was hit by Richard Murmann. Andreas Bertsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Gehl having to interfere. Mark Thieße received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Helmut Gehl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32ndth minute of the game Andreas Bertsch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vechta FSV's Helmut Gehl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Bertsch in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmut Gehl saved Vechta FSV from getting behind. Mark Thieße's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Helmut Gehl skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mark Thieße came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Helmut Gehl could save by the left post. Günter Riestenpatt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Gehl having to interfere. Andreas Bertsch struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Helmut Gehl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacken. If Mark Thieße had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Alois Glückler made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Thieße in the 54th minute of play forced Vechta FSV's goalkeeper Helmut Gehl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Andreas Bertsch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Helmut Gehl was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Alois Glückler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vechta FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Alois Glückler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliver Blauwink breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Vechta FSV booed when Nacken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Thieße didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Nacken's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alois Glückler fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Mark Thieße had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Bertsch in the 88th minute of play forced Vechta FSV's goalkeeper Helmut Gehl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Thieße sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Murmann charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Murmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vechta FSV's Richard Murmann got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Rainer Stecher sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vechta FSV's Helmut Gehl didn't even have to move. Andreas Bertsch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Helmut Gehl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Nacken players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
