If Fritz Niestroj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fritz Niestroj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Claus Krampitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferenc Kindler charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferenc Kindler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Ferenc Kindler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Swen Herrndorf hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Ronald Hartwig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darko Kirste having to interfere. If Lars Bräker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Bauschus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Claus Krampitz made a huge save. Fritz Niestroj's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claus Krampitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Lars Bräker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Darko Kirste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claus Krampitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fritz Niestroj showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. Swen Herrndorf hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Niestroj in the 46th minute of play forced Natural Born Grillers's goalkeeper Claus Krampitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fritz Niestroj to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Natural Born Grillers got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Schumann. If Dan Bauschus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Natural Born Grillers defense, Fritz Niestroj kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claus Krampitz. The Natural Born Grillers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claus Krampitz should have stopped the shot. Dan Bauschus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fritz Niestroj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Krampitz having to interfere. In the 68th minute Dan Bauschus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Krampitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronald Hartwig in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darko Kirste prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Arno Hennig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes, Fritz Niestroj made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Natural Born Grillers's Claus Krampitz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Bauschus in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claus Krampitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Dan Bauschus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claus Krampitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 91stth minute of the game Fritz Niestroj who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Natural Born Grillers's Claus Krampitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 92 played minutes Natural Born Grillers got a freekick which was hit by Utz Jakowitz. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kirchhoff had played much better football throughout.
