Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Funk started the match with the kick off. Dan Bauschus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchior Grasedieck having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray S.K 1905's zone, Dan Bauschus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchior Grasedieck came out of the goal and Dan Bauschus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fritz Niestroj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Funk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Darko Kirste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchior Grasedieck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Bauschus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchior Grasedieck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Bauschus in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Kirchhoff's Fritz Niestroj sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melchior Grasedieck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Ferenc Kindler almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Galatasaray S.K 1905's Melchior Grasedieck did a great save. After 31 played minutes Galatasaray S.K 1905 got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Giermann. After 35 minutes of play, Kirchhoff's Leven Forst made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melchior Grasedieck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Melchior Grasedieck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Bauschus, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fritz Niestroj to strike the kick off in the second half. Arno Hennig kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Kirchhoff defense, Frank Funk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darko Kirste. The Kirchhoff fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darko Kirste should have stopped the shot. Fritz Niestroj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchior Grasedieck having to interfere. Philipp Flüß hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Melchior Grasedieck was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ferenc Kindler. If Arno Hennig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fritz Niestroj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 72 in the game by Fritz Niestroj from a close distance when the talented Melchior Grasedieck managed to make a qualified save. Galatasaray S.K 1905's players were relieved. Dan Bauschus had several of the Galatasaray S.K 1905's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Melchior Grasedieck as he didn't even see the shot coming. Melchior Grasedieck was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Fritz Niestroj capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fritz Niestroj really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Melchior Grasedieck made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Dan Bauschus sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute Fritz Niestroj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchior Grasedieck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melchior Grasedieck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achmed Brantmeier, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Kirchhoff's Fritz Niestroj got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fritz Giermann's late challenge caught a Kirchhoff's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fritz Giermann helped the player get up and apologised. Fritz Giermann kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Niestroj in the 97th minute of play forced Galatasaray S.K 1905's goalkeeper Melchior Grasedieck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Galatasaray S.K 1905 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kirchhoff were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
