Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sven Aschenbrenner kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Ramsenthal FC's Lars Grünewald sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Volker Bretzel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Meyer Zu Bargholz getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ari Topka hit a great ball. Memet Ebert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Grünewald in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volker Bretzel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute of the match Hennes Remus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerd Weyerich showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Ramsenthal FC booed when Meyer Zu Bargholz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole Miethe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Memet Ebert hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Sven Aschenbrenner struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Gerd Weyerich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meyer Zu Bargholz. Meyer Zu Bargholz's Gernot Witty got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Helmar Kissling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Volker Bretzel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Memet Ebert went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Evert Altmeier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Memet Ebert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volker Bretzel having to interfere. Volker Bretzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Grünewald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Ramsenthal FC's Gerd Weyerich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Ramsenthal FC from getting a goal against them. Volker Bretzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Grünewald in the 53rd minute of the match. Lars Grünewald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volker Bretzel having to interfere. If Memet Ebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Meyer Zu Bargholz getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ari Topka hit a great ball. If Sven Aschenbrenner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gernot Witty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerd Weyerich having to make a save. Gerd Weyerich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Aschenbrenner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Memet Ebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volker Bretzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Meyer Zu Bargholz's Helmar Kissling got a free kick in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Ramsenthal FC's goalkeeper Gerd Weyerich had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gernot Witty. In the 73rd minute Memet Ebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volker Bretzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gernot Witty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ari Topka hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Lars Grünewald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Volker Bretzel was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Memet Ebert in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volker Bretzel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the game, Evert Altmeier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ramsenthal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meyer Zu Bargholz the free kick. A collision led to Ramsenthal FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play.
