Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ludwig von Gartzen kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Ludwig von Gartzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Schlager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopold Jägerstätter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kevin Schlager read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Julius Waddey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Michael Beudel sped through Hagenau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilfried Belusa. 16 minutes into the game, André Thorwart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hagenau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wederath FSV the free kick. After 16 played minutes Hagenau got a freekick which was hit by André Thorwart. Wilfried Belusa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Beudel in the 17th minute. Wilfried Belusa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Waddey, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Färber in the 23rd minute of play forced Hagenau's goalkeeper Wilfried Belusa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Erwin Kortüm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Ludwig von Gartzen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Schlager was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 30th minute Julius Waddey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfried Belusa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julius Waddey in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfried Belusa saved Hagenau from getting behind. After 34 minutes, Michael Beudel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wederath FSV and the Hagenau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Ludwig von Gartzen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Beudel got free with Wilfried Belusa in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Wederath FSV getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Michael Beudel hit a great ball. If Leopold Jägerstätter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Julius Waddey made the kick off in the second half. 1-2 became the score in the 52nd minute when Leopold Jägerstätter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ludwig von Gartzen in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevin Schlager saved Wederath FSV from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Färber in the 60th minute of play forced Hagenau's goalkeeper Wilfried Belusa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th play minute Leopold Jägerstätter came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kevin Schlager. 1-3. A collision led to Wederath FSV getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. David Färber hit a great ball. Leopold Jägerstätter struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Kevin Schlager didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hagenau. Kevin Schlager showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig von Gartzen in the 73rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julius Waddey in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfried Belusa saved Hagenau from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Hagenau's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Conradi came free, but Wilfried Belusa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopold Jägerstätters short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Kevin Schlager to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Julius Waddey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wederath FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Julius Waddey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfried Belusa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Jim Conradi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfried Belusa was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 83rd match minute, Hagenau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Thorwart to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julius Waddey in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfried Belusa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ludwig von Gartzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hagenau's goalkeeper Wilfried Belusa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ludwig von Gartzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Schlager having to interfere. The Wederath FSV supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hagenau's performance. The match ended with a win for Hagenau.
