Egil Brochtrop was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 8th minute, Octavian Silbermann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Void fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Michael Beudel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Egil Brochtrop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holger Eberhard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Schlager having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, one of Black Void:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, Wederath FSV's Maiko Vüllings got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Egil Brochtrop. Michael Beudel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Egil Brochtrop skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Michael Beudel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julius Waddey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Egil Brochtrop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egil Brochtrop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Waddey, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julius Waddey was the one to do the kick off. Michael Beudel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Egil Brochtrop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Julius Waddey came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Wederath FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julius Waddey couldn't finish the play. If Michael Beudel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willi Mütze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Waddey in the 65th minute of play forced Black Void's goalkeeper Egil Brochtrop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavian Silbermann hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Michael Kamp's late challenge caught a Wederath FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Kamp helped the player get up and apologised. Michael Kamp kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Egil Brochtrop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Waddey in the 81st minute of the match. Michael Beudel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Holger Eberhard hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julius Waddey in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egil Brochtrop prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Michael Beudel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wederath FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Beudel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egil Brochtrop breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egil Brochtrop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Waddey in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wederath FSV had played much better football throughout.
