Spectators: 5721 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bill Schneller took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Lewin Rädel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theo Reißig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Wacker in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Volkhard Munz in the 7th minute of play forced Altensiel's goalkeeper Theo Reißig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klemens Schwarz hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Spencers's Volkhard Munz got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Altensiel's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Wacker came free, but Theo Reißig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theo Reißig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Wacker in the 16th minute of play. Lewin Rädel scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Friedemann Kamp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giovanni Wacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Theo Reißig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovanni Wacker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Reißig having to interfere. Altensiel's Theo Reißig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volkhard Munz in the 39th minute of play. Philipp Rank's late challenge caught a Spencers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philipp Rank helped the player get up and apologised. Philipp Rank kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Volkhard Munz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giovanni Wacker to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Spencers's Volkhard Munz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Theo Reißig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Leo Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimir Vinkemeier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Reißig having to interfere. With a little luck, Altensiel's Theo Reißig got control of the ball when Volkhard Munz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 62 played minutes Spencers got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Wacker. Volkhard Munz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Reißig having to interfere. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Altensiel's goalkeeper Theo Reißig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giovanni Wacker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leo Sachs kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Volkhard Munz came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Spencers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Volkhard Munz couldn't finish the play. Theo Reißig made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Volkhard Munz sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Volkhard Munz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Theo Falk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altensiel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spencers the free kick. After 85 played minutes Altensiel got a freekick which was hit by Theo Falk. Volkhard Munz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Theo Reißig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Volkhard Munz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spencers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Volkhard Munz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theo Reißig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Volkhard Munz in the 93rd minute. If Lewin Rädel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Altensiel could leave the field as winners, despite Spencers having more of the ball for most of the match.
