Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Giovanni Wacker took the kick off in the first half of the match. Volkhard Munz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Jes Schwaiger made a huge save. In the 5thth minute of the game Giovanni Wacker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Strasburg's Jes Schwaiger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, René Busch managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Strasburg's supporters rose to their feet, but René Busch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Friedemann Kamp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Volkhard Munz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute, Eberhard Seisler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Friedemann Kamp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of René Busch's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The supporters of FC Strasburg booed when Spencers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Hetz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eberhard Seisler charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eberhard Seisler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Strasburg getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Eberhard Seisler hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, FC Strasburg's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Wacker came free, but Jes Schwaiger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Vuranoglu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Friedemann Kamp. Spencers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 42nd minute Giovanni Wacker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jes Schwaiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Friedemann Kamp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lysander Niederberger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovanni Wacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jes Schwaiger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lysander Niederberger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Volkhard Munz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC Strasburg fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when FC Strasburg's Lysander Niederberger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 63rd minute, Manfred Hetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Spencers's Josip Riehm tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Volkhard Munz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rd minute Lysander Niederberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Friedemann Kamp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Volkhard Munz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jes Schwaiger was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. When Spencers's Volkhard Munz in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
