Lazio Rom's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Wacker came free, but Benjamin Söbbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Friedemann Kamp made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Francesco Sippel sent off a good shot on target. Benjamin Söbbe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volkhard Munz in the 13th minute of the match. Spencers's attack was well implemented in the 16th minute, but when Volkhard Munz was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Benjamin Söbbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Wacker in the 17th minute of play. Giovanni Wacker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Söbbe having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, S.S. Lazio Rom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otfried Nilßon to maneuver through the defense. After 25th play minutes Volkhard Munz shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Benjamin Söbbe and just under the crossbar into goal. If Milenko Mank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francesco Sippel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Friedemann Kamp having to interfere. Bozo Platen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Söbbe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Wacker, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Benjamin Söbbe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Wacker in the 38th minute of the match. Milenko Mank's late challenge caught a S.S. Lazio Rom's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Milenko Mank helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Milenko Mank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 minutes, Francesco Sippel made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Spencers's Friedemann Kamp tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 48 minutes into the match, S.S. Lazio Rom's goal looked a bit too open when Volkhard Munz came free, but Benjamin Söbbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giovanni Wacker was the one to do the kick off. Otfried Nilßon charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Otfried Nilßon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Spencers booed when S.S. Lazio Rom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otfried Nilßon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spencers's Josip Riehm couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for S.S. Lazio Rom. Benjamin Söbbe made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Volkhard Munz sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Giovanni Wacker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Söbbe was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After 59 minutes of play, S.S. Lazio Rom's Francesco Sippel made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Friedemann Kamp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giovanni Wacker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Söbbe having to interfere. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Volkhard Munz sped through S.S. Lazio Rom's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamin Söbbe. Benjamin Söbbe was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Domian Grunert. After a rather tough play, S.S. Lazio Rom's Bozo Platen got a free kick in the 74th minute. Milenko Mank recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francesco Sippel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Francesco Sippel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Spencers's Benjamin Söbbe threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Giovanni Wacker, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Volkhard Munz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Benjamin Söbbe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 93rdth minute of the game Giovanni Wacker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.S. Lazio Rom's Benjamin Söbbe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Volkhard Munz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Söbbe having to make a save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. S.S. Lazio Rom were victorious despite being under pressure from Spencers for much of the match.
