Wolfgang Pothmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, shalolinon's Quincy Middelberg got control of the ball when Ken Stenger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quincy Middelberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrich Händel in the 8th minute of play. Kim Bambach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Vinzenz Thimm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. shalolinon were furious when Joachim Velten was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for shalolinon! Klaus Leffek placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Ulrich Händel succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. shalolinon's attentive Frederic Pommerenke managed to snatch the ball when Lothar Binding made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 25th minute of the match shalolinon got a corner. Barl's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jakob Joder ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dimitar Desoi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barl fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrich Händel in the 32nd minute of play forced shalolinon's goalkeeper Quincy Middelberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to shalolinon getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Raimund van de Logt hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Ulrich Händel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quincy Middelberg made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Christoph Egger sent off a good shot on target. After 38 played minutes shalolinon got a freekick which was hit by Raimund van de Logt. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christoph Egger got free with Quincy Middelberg in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christoph Egger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Quincy Middelberg made a huge save. If Ali Klebsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulrich Händel to make the kick off. shalolinon's Frederic Pommerenke managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lothar Binding in the 56 minute of the game. Quincy Middelberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothar Binding in the 64th minute of the match. Quincy Middelberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lothar Binding went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute of the match Falk Motzer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quincy Middelberg skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoph Egger in the 81st minute of play forced shalolinon's goalkeeper Quincy Middelberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, shalolinon's Axel Mees got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Jakob Joder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Barl's Ulrich Händel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Quincy Middelberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Barl were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of shalolinon for a fine match.
