Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ulrich Händel started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Manevra FC's Hartmut Grabert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinzenz Thimm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 8 played minutes Barl got a freekick which was hit by Ken Stenger. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hartmut Grabert in the 10th minute of play forced Barl's goalkeeper Vinzenz Thimm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes, Alf Graf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manevra FC and the Barl players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Manevra FC! In the 22nd match minute, Barl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kilian Rauhaus to maneuver through the defense. When Barl's Ulrich Händel in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manevra FC's goalie prevented a goal. Hartmut Grabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Manevra FC's zone, Christoph Egger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erich Barzik came out of the goal and Christoph Egger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barl's Ulrich Händel got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christoph Egger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erich Barzik having to make a save. In the 46th minute, Jerome Schur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinzenz Thimm made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Bozo Recknagel sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hartmut Grabert was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Hartmut Grabert notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Barl's Vinzenz Thimm. Vinzenz Thimm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ken Stenger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Erich Barzik made a huge save. Lothar Binding kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Erich Barzik made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Christoph Egger sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Alf Graf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Christoph Egger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ulrich Händel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bozo Recknagel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronald Bonatz charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronald Bonatz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, Manevra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Bonatz to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Ulrich Händel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erich Barzik. The goal made the score 1-2. Vinzenz Thimm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hartmut Grabert in the 95th minute of play.
