Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Volkmar Mebus started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Klein Breese booed when Kosmonauten Prenzelberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pitt Ottmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Kraus was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Christian Böse. Albert Kraus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volkmar Mebus in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute Volkmar Mebus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Kraus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Albert Kraus managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Klein Breese's Dierk Wilkendorf fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Volkmar Mebus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hendrik Janssen might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Finn Büttgenbach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hendrik Janssen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, Dierk Wilkendorf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Volkmar Mebus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Kraus having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Kramer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albert Kraus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dierk Wilkendorf in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Volkmar Mebus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Klein Breese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Volkmar Mebus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Klein Breese's Volkmar Mebus in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kosmonauten Prenzelberg's goalie prevented a goal. Thomas Esser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Albert Kraus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Kraus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volkmar Mebus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dierk Wilkendorf in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albert Kraus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dierk Wilkendorf scored 1-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albert Kraus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Axel Kramer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Finn Büttgenbach. Axel Kramer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Dierk Wilkendorf took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Kraus. Albert Kraus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Finn Büttgenbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Kramer in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dierk Wilkendorf in the 87th minute of play forced Kosmonauten Prenzelberg's goalkeeper Albert Kraus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Kraus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dierk Wilkendorf in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Klein Breese getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jörg Stemberg hit a great ball. Albert Kraus came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Klein Breese's Volkmar Mebus. But to his dismay, Volkmar Mebus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Klein Breese fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kosmonauten Prenzelberg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
