Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bert Gerhold kicked off to start the match. If Ronnie Benesch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Krinke in the 12th minute of play forced Eintracht Frankfurt's goalkeeper Erlend Kamp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronnie Benesch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gisbert Sondermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. August Heiß was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Buprich getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Donny Kueres hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Buprich's Anthony Jenkner got a free kick in the 18th minute. Erlend Kamp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willy Kamieth in the 20th minute of the match. Ronnie Benesch came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gisbert Sondermann could save by the left post. Erlend Kamp came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Buprich's Bert Gerhold. But to his dismay, Bert Gerhold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gisbert Sondermann made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Peer Dams sent off a good shot on target. After 29 played minutes Eintracht Frankfurt got a freekick which was hit by Peer Dams. In the 29th minute, Eintracht Frankfurt's Peer Dams fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Gisbert Sondermann was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Eintracht Frankfurt's goal looked a bit too open when Bert Gerhold came free, but Erlend Kamp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Detlef Grabosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 42 in the game by Davor Blecker from a close distance when the talented Gisbert Sondermann managed to make a qualified save. Buprich's players were relieved. In the 47th minute, Tobias Krinke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Eintracht Frankfurt players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Buprich were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peer Dams stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eintracht Frankfurt's attentive Detlef Grabosch managed to snatch the ball when Leif Brandstrup made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. Peer Dams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 59 minutes into the match, Peer Dams notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Buprich's Gisbert Sondermann. Gisbert Sondermann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willy Kamieth in the 63rd minute of play forced Eintracht Frankfurt's goalkeeper Erlend Kamp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peer Dams kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Eintracht Frankfurt's Erlend Kamp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Eintracht Frankfurt from getting a goal against them. Gisbert Sondermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peer Dams, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Buprich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Jenkner to maneuver through the defense. Peer Dams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gisbert Sondermann having to interfere. Gisbert Sondermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Benesch in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Buprich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermann Frankfurter to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Mario Reimers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Peer Dams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buprich were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Eintracht Frankfurt's much stronger midfield.
