An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Gerhold in the 5th minute of play forced Barl's goalkeeper Vinzenz Thimm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Micha-Alexander Ronge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Klaus Leffek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barl's supporters rose to their feet, but Klaus Leffek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gisbert Sondermann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vinzenz Thimm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bert Gerhold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Ulrich Händel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gisbert Sondermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthony Jenkner hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Gisbert Sondermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrich Händel in the 25th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Barl's Christoph Egger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gisbert Sondermann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the last second Vinzenz Thimm throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bert Gerhold in the 41stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ulrich Händel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gisbert Sondermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Christoph Egger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gisbert Sondermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Bert Gerhold scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vinzenz Thimm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Buprich's Willy Kamieth got a free kick in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Buprich's Bert Gerhold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinzenz Thimm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Bert Gerhold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinzenz Thimm having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ulrich Händel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gisbert Sondermann was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Tobias Krinke put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vinzenz Thimm. Vinzenz Thimm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bert Gerhold went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Tobias Krinke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinzenz Thimm having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Kilian Rauhaus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gisbert Sondermann. That made the score 4-1 in the 82 minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Barl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kilian Rauhaus to maneuver through the defense. Buprich's Mauritz de Raaf couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barl. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barl players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Buprich.
