In the 10thth minute of the game Gaspard Noebels who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esenshammergroden FC's Robert Odenthal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brix Pahlmann, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 15 minutes of play, Bayenthal's Jascha Braunert made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Odenthal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robert Odenthal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspard Noebels in the 19th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Detlef Kracht in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tord Schenk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niko Kaessmann hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Gaspard Noebels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Odenthal having to interfere. Esenshammergroden FC's Ralf Lembeck got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Detlef Kracht stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a left leg Tord Schenk saved Bayenthal from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Detlef Kracht got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Simon Schulz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
