Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Christof Hähner kicked off to start the match. Werner Uhde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luigi Buchele having to interfere. Niels Piesche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Quint Ziege came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Ruschkamp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quint Ziege couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Christof Hähner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Appercha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Appercha's zone, Niels Piesche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Küffner came out of the goal and Niels Piesche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luigi Buchele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christof Hähner in the 25th minute of the match. Christof Hähner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Luigi Buchele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Niels Piesche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Ruschkamp's goal looked a bit too open when Werner Uhde came free, but Luigi Buchele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christof Hähner struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Luigi Buchele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Appercha. 42 minutes into the match, Appercha's Christof Hähner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luigi Buchele narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christof Hähner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Werner Uhde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luigi Buchele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quint Ziege stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christof Hähner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quint Ziege in the 56th minute of play forced Appercha's goalkeeper John Küffner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes of play, Appercha's Werner Uhde made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luigi Buchele was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute Quint Ziege shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Küffner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christof Hähner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Luigi Buchele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Quint Ziege managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruschkamp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quint Ziege was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Werner Uhde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Christof Hähner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ruschkamp's zone, Werner Uhde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luigi Buchele came out of the goal and Werner Uhde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luigi Buchele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorsten Waschke, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ruschkamp's Luigi Buchele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christof Hähner in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Appercha's Christof Hähner ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luigi Buchele. Luigi Buchele yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The Ruschkamp fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Appercha were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
