The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Küffner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harry Scheike's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 13th match minute, FC Buhmann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludwig Cavic to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match Anton Störr sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Küffner skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Scheike in the 20th minute of play forced Appercha's goalkeeper John Küffner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christof Hähner in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Buhmann's goalkeeper Tobias Eichhorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Werner Uhde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Eichhorn having to interfere. When Lutz Tengstedt fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Buhmann's protests and gave Lutz Tengstedt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, FC Buhmann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lutz Tengstedt to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Werner Uhde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Werner Uhde ran back to his position shaking his head. Tobias Eichhorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorsten Waschke in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Appercha's Kirsten Battke got a free kick in the 35th minute. Christof Hähner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Eichhorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Werner Uhde in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Appercha were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Harry Scheike made the kick off in the second half. Werner Uhde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Tobias Eichhorn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Werner Uhde who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Tobias Eichhorn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 58 minutes into the game, FC Buhmann's Oswald Bothe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John Küffner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Oswald Bothe struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. John Küffner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Buhmann. Thorsten Waschke struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. FC Buhmann's Ludwig Cavic got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Harry Scheike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Buhmann fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when FC Buhmann's Vito Betz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Appercha getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Werner Uhde hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Appercha's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Scheike came free, but John Küffner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludwig Cavic hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
