Dean Dirks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, FC SCHALKE 04's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Dirks came free, but Samuel Scheck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dean Dirks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Doty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dean Dirks in the 14th minute of play forced FC SCHALKE 04's goalkeeper Samuel Scheck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, FC SCHALKE 04's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Doty came free, but Samuel Scheck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dean Dirks in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Scheck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dean Dirks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dean Dirks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Samuel Scheck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lennard Hirsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Scheck having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartholomäus Nürnberger got free with Samuel Scheck in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lennard Hirsch's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Samuel Scheck skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 30th match minute, FC SCHALKE 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rainer Eichel to maneuver through the defense. Dean Dirks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arend Bollmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Röwekamp having to interfere. It was beautiful to see FC SCHALKE 04's Philip Rathje in action when he in the 35th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Dean Dirks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dean Dirks was the one to do the kick off. Samuel Scheck came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Haigerer Hodentreter's Lennard Hirsch. But to his dismay, Lennard Hirsch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Dean Dirks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lennard Hirsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Scheck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dean Dirks in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Haigerer Hodentreter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Doty to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC SCHALKE 04's zone, Dean Dirks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Scheck came out of the goal and Dean Dirks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Helko Krauth charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helko Krauth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC SCHALKE 04's Helko Krauth got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC SCHALKE 04's zone, Dean Dirks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Scheck came out of the goal and Dean Dirks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of FC SCHALKE 04:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Haigerer Hodentreter:s goal. Philip Rathje kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Lennard Hirsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Scheck having to interfere. Samuel Scheck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Dirks, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Samuel Scheck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dean Dirks in the 99th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Haigerer Hodentreter players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
