Mario Quint fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemens Grünberger having to interfere. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Hendrik Langmaier with Emil Rohde as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 32 minutes into the match, Plereit's Mario Quint sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clemens Grünberger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Plereit's Eppo Rhinow got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fatih Windscheif hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Plereit's Florian Elser got control of the ball when Bernhard Harris tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernhard Harris got free with Florian Elser in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Quint stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florian Elser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernhard Harris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Höferhof's Clemens Grünberger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Höferhof from getting a goal against them. If Mario Quint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60thth minute of the game Mario Quint who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Höferhof's Clemens Grünberger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horst Ulbrich in the 66th minute of play forced Plereit's goalkeeper Florian Elser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernhard Harris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernhard Harris struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. In the 80th minute Bernhard Harris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Elser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florian Elser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernhard Harris in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Höferhof's Fatih Windscheif got a free kick in the 94th minute. Mario Quint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Plereit played a much better game than Höferhof and deserved their victory. The Höferhof players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
