Ramon Schulte made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Joachim Kramer sent off a good shot on target. After 4 minutes, Jochem Sahr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Finne and the Grünschwaige players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Finne getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jochem Sahr hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Wolf Zellier sped through Grünschwaige's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andreas Kappestein. In the 18th match minute, Grünschwaige was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Kramer to maneuver through the defense. Wolf Zellier took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Kappestein. Andreas Kappestein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 23 minutes into the match, Grünschwaige's Reiner Jäger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramon Schulte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joachim Kramer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ramon Schulte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grünschwaige's Andreas Kappestein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Mühlenhaupt in the 26th minute of play. Ramon Schulte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reiner Jäger in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Finne's goalkeeper Ramon Schulte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joachim Kramer. In the 30th match minute, Grünschwaige was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Ullmann to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rdth minute of the game Wolf Zellier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grünschwaige's Andreas Kappestein was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andreas Kappestein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolf Zellier, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Finne's Jo Stockhaus got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th match minute, Grünschwaige was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Vogl to maneuver through the defense. Jo Stockhaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Kappestein having to interfere. Andreas Kappestein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolf Zellier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico Mühlenhaupt struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Andreas Kappestein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Finne. In the 44th minute, Reiner Jäger made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Schulte. Finne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Wolf Zellier made the kick off in the second half. Frederico Mühlenhaupt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Andreas Kappestein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Finne's Wolf Zellier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Kappestein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Alexander Pfahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Kappestein having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Joachim Kramer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramon Schulte. Finne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joachim Kramer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. After 75 played minutes Grünschwaige got a freekick which was hit by Reiner Jäger. Andreas Kappestein came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Finne's Jochem Sahr. But to his dismay, Jochem Sahr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. When Finne's Wolf Zellier in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grünschwaige's goalie prevented a goal. If Jochem Sahr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederico Mühlenhaupt might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Kappestein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederico Mühlenhaupt ran back to his position shaking his head. Andreas Kappestein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolf Zellier, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Jochem Sahr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes in the game, Jo Stockhaus fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Andreas Kappestein having to interfere. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Grünschwaige's goalkeeper Andreas Kappestein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jo Stockhaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Andreas Kappestein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Finne's Wolf Zellier in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grünschwaige's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wolf Zellier in the 97th minute of play forced Grünschwaige's goalkeeper Andreas Kappestein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Finne left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Grünschwaige.
