With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herwig Liess in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Kappestein saved Grünschwaige from getting behind. After some careless play in the Grünschwaige defense, Herwig Liess kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Kappestein. The Grünschwaige fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Kappestein should have stopped the shot. If Reiner Jäger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joachim Kramer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herwig Liess made a kick off. In the 66th minute of the match Fynn Schüßler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andreas Kappestein skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Plereit's Gilbert Lingnau slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andreas Kappestein. That made the score 1-3 after 67 minutes of play. Andreas Kappestein made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Herwig Liess sent off a good shot on target. Andreas Kappestein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herwig Liess's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herwig Liess in the 81st minute of play forced Grünschwaige's goalkeeper Andreas Kappestein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
