Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mario Quint made the kick off which started today's match. Florian Elser made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Emanuel Kilz sent off a good shot on target. In the 5thth minute of the game Mario Quint who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eichenzell FSV's Rudi Gudat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Kai von Scheliha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eichenzell FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plereit the free kick. After 6 played minutes Eichenzell FSV got a freekick which was hit by Kai von Scheliha. 7 minutes into the match, Plereit's goal looked a bit too open when Laurenz Thumser came free, but Florian Elser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Kilz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Florian Elser made a huge save. Laurenz Thumser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Elser having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Plereit's zone, Laurenz Thumser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Elser came out of the goal and Laurenz Thumser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the game, Laurenz Thumser recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florian Elser. Laurenz Thumser showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Eppo Rhinow struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Rudi Gudat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plereit. Rudi Gudat came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Plereit's Mario Quint. But to his dismay, Mario Quint quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gilbert Lingnau struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Rudi Gudat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plereit. When Eppo Rhinow came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Plereit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eppo Rhinow couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Eichenzell FSV's Florian Elser threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laurenz Thumser, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 39 minutes into the game, Peter-Stefan Zeuner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eichenzell FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plereit the free kick. Peter-Stefan Zeuner kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Mario Quint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Eichenzell FSV defense, Mario Quint kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rudi Gudat. The Eichenzell FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rudi Gudat should have stopped the shot. Florian Elser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurenz Thumser in the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Eichenzell FSV's Marc Klause got a free kick in the 51st minute. Eichenzell FSV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Mario Quint scored to the left of an out of position Rudi Gudat, making the score, 2-3. Tom Rentsch hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Rio Erdmann sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Plereit's Florian Elser didn't even have to move. Emanuel Kilz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Florian Elser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Plereit's Mario Quint in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eichenzell FSV's goalie prevented a goal. Rudi Gudat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reimar Krickel went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Florian Elser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurenz Thumser in the 73rd minute of the match. If Reimar Krickel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, Peter Bahr threw the ball into play from the sideline. Plereit's Gilbert Lingnau quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Laurenz Thumser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Elser having to interfere. Rudi Gudat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Quint, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Plereit players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
