Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Friedbert Lauterbach started the match with the kick off. Dirk Rotheuler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrius Herlitizius having to interfere. In the 8th minute Willy Wolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrius Herlitizius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Schleusingen's Balko Deisler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Friedbert Lauterbach in the 22nd minute of play. When Iker Meiniger fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Schleusingen's protests and gave Iker Meiniger a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Friedbert Lauterbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Balko Deisler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Friedbert Lauterbach went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When VfL Trier Revolutionäre's Jacek Hiemer in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Schleusingen's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, VfL Trier Revolutionäre's Demetrius Herlitizius got control of the ball when Willy Wolf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Balko Deisler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Friedbert Lauterbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moritz Ani to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Schleusingen's goalkeeper Balko Deisler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Balko Deisler made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Friedbert Lauterbach sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Friedbert Lauterbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 minutes of play, Schleusingen's Willy Wolf made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demetrius Herlitizius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kasimir Balken hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Balko Deisler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Friedbert Lauterbach in the 79th minute. In the 79th match minute, Schleusingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk Rotheuler to maneuver through the defense. Balko Deisler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gianni Schneider went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gianni Schneider got free with Balko Deisler in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded VfL Trier Revolutionäre left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Schleusingen.
