When Friedbert Lauterbach got free in front of the goal in the 11th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ryan Oehrke was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Demetrius Herlitizius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerd Schweickert in the 15th minute of the match. Inzkofen FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dieter Bohnsack in the 17th minute. The corner ended in Gerd Schweickert almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VfL Trier Revolutionäre's Demetrius Herlitizius did a great save. Friedbert Lauterbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as VfL Trier Revolutionäre's Gianni Schneider slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ryan Oehrke. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Friedbert Lauterbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VfL Trier Revolutionäre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Friedbert Lauterbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. VfL Trier Revolutionäre's Demetrius Herlitizius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Friedrich Blohm in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, VfL Trier Revolutionäre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Schulze to maneuver through the defense. Denis Knop charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Demetrius Herlitizius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Friedrich Blohm in the 56th minute. If Gerd Schweickert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Inzkofen FC's Friedrich Blohm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demetrius Herlitizius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Friedrich Blohm kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 75thth minute. Though ot was a great shot VfL Trier Revolutionäre's keeper Demetrius Herlitizius was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Gerd Schweickert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Stephan Schwarzbäcker fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VfL Trier Revolutionäre's protests and gave Stephan Schwarzbäcker a yellow card for diving instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of Inzkofen FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant VfL Trier Revolutionäre side.
