Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Steve Jager made the kick off which started today's match. Gregor Spichermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Jager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinald Zandi's late challenge caught a Uderdogs SV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinald Zandi helped the player get up and apologised. Traugott Hunger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregor Spichermann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Gregor Spichermann made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Traugott Hunger sent off a good shot on target. Gregor Spichermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Jager in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Uderdogs SV's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Jager came free, but Gregor Spichermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josef Wadehn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rudi Knecht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Südstadt's Rudi Knecht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfried Ochmann in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Georg Ulrich Trehkopf shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rudi Knecht showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Steve Jager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregor Spichermann having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Fredrik Scheiff made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Wilfried Ochmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregor Spichermann came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Südstadt's Steve Jager. But to his dismay, Steve Jager quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Gregor Spichermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traugott Hunger, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 65 minutes, Till Nolting mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Südstadt and the Uderdogs SV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes FC Südstadt got a freekick which was hit by Till Nolting. Rudi Knecht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Scheiff in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traugott Hunger in the 75th minute of play forced Uderdogs SV's goalkeeper Gregor Spichermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steve Jager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Traugott Hunger made a precise shot to the right of Gregor Spichermann. Uderdogs SV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Gregor Spichermann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Traugott Hunger went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Otto Heine fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uderdogs SV's protests and gave Otto Heine a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Uderdogs SV getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Otto Heine hit a great ball. Traugott Hunger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Südstadt fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uderdogs SV had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
