Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Reimund Heim made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the game, Niklas Flock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Südstadt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Löveling the free kick. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Südstadt! 12 minutes into the match, Löveling's Reimund Heim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rudi Knecht narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Reimund Heim got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 20 minutes into the match, Marc Lettrari dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rudi Knecht, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Löveling's zone, Steve Jager stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Groneberg came out of the goal and Steve Jager tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the game, Traugott Hunger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fred Groneberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reimund Heim in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rudi Knecht saved FC Südstadt from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Reimund Heim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudi Knecht was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. If Steve Jager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steve Jager stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rudi Knecht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Lettrari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 minutes, Deniz Amstutz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Löveling and the FC Südstadt players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Deniz Amstutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Steve Jager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Groneberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Jager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Groneberg having to interfere. After 75 minutes of play Löveling's Deniz Amstutz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Löveling's Deniz Amstutz got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Jakob Oppenheim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Fred Groneberg managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when FC Südstadt's Traugott Hunger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Marc Lettrari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
