Spectators: 6735 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Klaus Dieter Glatzer took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, FC Nebbia 05's Ivan Fesseler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Theobald Watzek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Theobald Watzek made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Ivan Fesseler sent off a good shot on target. In the 7thth minute of the game Domenico Schaub who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Nebbia 05's Manfred Sauter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Struck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manfred Sauter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenico Schaub went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. FC Augsburg's Domenico Schaub got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horst Mayr's late challenge caught a FC Nebbia 05's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horst Mayr helped the player get up and apologised. Horst Mayr hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Theobald Watzek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Fesseler in the 25th minute. Clemens Kahl kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Reto Krämer, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jonathan Struck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Sauter having to interfere. FC Nebbia 05's Manfred Sauter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Schaub in the 31st minute of play. Manfred Sauter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Struck, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Domenico Schaub came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the FC Augsburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domenico Schaub couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Struck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manfred Sauter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of FC Nebbia 05 booed when FC Augsburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horst Mayr didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Domenico Schaub ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manfred Sauter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half FC Augsburg were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Otto-Stephan Esch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Domenico Schaub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Sauter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ivan Fesseler came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the FC Nebbia 05 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Fesseler couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC Nebbia 05 getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Samuel Spieth hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Ivan Fesseler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theobald Watzek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Domenico Schaub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes FC Augsburg got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Schaub. After 84 played minutes FC Nebbia 05 got a freekick which was hit by Clemens Kahl. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Jonathan Struck got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 88th minute Domenico Schaub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Sauter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Randy Böhmer during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Randy Böhmer kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. FC Augsburg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
