Klaus Dieter Glatzer started the match with the kick off. Andreas Rodemann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Sauter having to interfere. Klaus Dieter Glatzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 11th match minute, Eberstadt Pfungstadt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christos Weckenmann to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Nebbia 05's Tim Glaser got a free kick in the 12th minute. Friedemann Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Friedemann Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Andreas Rodemann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manfred Sauter. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Nebbia 05 defense, Joshua Meffert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manfred Sauter. The FC Nebbia 05 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manfred Sauter should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Nebbia 05's goalkeeper Manfred Sauter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 39 played minutes FC Nebbia 05 got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Spieth. 40 minutes into the match, Eberstadt Pfungstadt's Gino Möller broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Manfred Sauter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joshua Meffert in the 42nd minute.

Edgar Brechtheimer made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Ivan Fesseler sent off a good shot on target. Edgar Brechtheimer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaus Dieter Glatzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th match minute, Eberstadt Pfungstadt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Friedemann Reis to maneuver through the defense. Eberstadt Pfungstadt's Edgar Brechtheimer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Eberstadt Pfungstadt from getting a goal against them. When Friedemann Reis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Eberstadt Pfungstadt's Friedemann Reis got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Falk Redepenning was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eberstadt Pfungstadt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Nebbia 05 the free kick. After 74 played minutes Eberstadt Pfungstadt got a freekick which was hit by Falk Redepenning. Joshua Meffert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
