The supporters of Ohlenfeld booed when FC Augsburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horst Mayr didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Domenico Schaub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Domenico Schaub's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrik Bohle was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrik Bohle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrik Bohle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Struck in the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domenico Schaub in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrik Bohle saved Ohlenfeld from getting behind. Domenico Schaub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Bohle having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Rolf Hentschel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Theobald Watzek. Rolf Hentschel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. FC Augsburg's Theobald Watzek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Hentschel in the 36th minute of play. Domenico Schaub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Robin Renner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Henrik Bohle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Struck, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute.
