Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stoetze FC's Erik Hopp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Immo Thiel in the 6th minute of play. FC Elmshorn's Ingmar Hermann got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Erich Oberleitner made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Schöneberg. FC Elmshorn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 17th minute, Erich Oberleitner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Ingmar Hermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the game, FC Elmshorn's Ingmar Hermann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Hopp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Immo Thiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingmar Hermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Hopp having to interfere. FC Elmshorn's Immo Thiel got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Immo Thiel in the 33rd minute of play forced Stoetze FC's goalkeeper Erik Hopp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingmar Hermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Hopp having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Erich Oberleitner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Schöneberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ingmar Hermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Erik Hopp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Stoetze FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Immo Thiel was the one to do the kick off. Erik Hopp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingmar Hermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Tom Schwarzkopff almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stoetze FC's Erik Hopp did a great save. Ingmar Hermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Hopp having to interfere. If Immo Thiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingmar Hermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Elmshorn's goalkeeper Thomas Schöneberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Elmshorn's Thomas Schöneberg got control of the ball when Matthias Gotthard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Immo Thiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Erik Hopp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Stoetze FC's goal looked a bit too open when Immo Thiel came free, but Erik Hopp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stoetze FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tom Schwarzkopff was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Elmshorn's players had a chance to rest. FC Elmshorn's Tom Schwarzkopff was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erik Hopp in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Erik Hopp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Immo Thiel in the 85th minute of the match. Erik Hopp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Immo Thiel in the 87th minute of play. After 90 minutes of play, FC Elmshorn's Ingmar Hermann made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Hopp was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingmar Hermann in the 93rd minute of play forced Stoetze FC's goalkeeper Erik Hopp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Hopp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Immo Thiel in the 94th minute of play. Erik Hopp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Eichel, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. FC Elmshorn walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
