If Hermann List had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sonnhart FSV's Marvin Kneuer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Sonnhart FSV from getting a goal against them. Sonnhart FSV's Marvin Kneuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Schindler in the 11th minute of play. Louis Bracke struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Fidelio Oesterreich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sonnhart FSV. Hermann List sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 28 minutes, Vincent Springfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sonnhart FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vincent Springfeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaromir Lillge took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marvin Kneuer. Sonnhart FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hermann List struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Fidelio Oesterreich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sonnhart FSV. FC Kick Daneben's Fidelio Oesterreich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermann List in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sonnhart FSV's zone, Lukas Schindler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marvin Kneuer came out of the goal and Lukas Schindler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lukas Schindler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marvin Kneuer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Lukas Schindler took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marvin Kneuer. Marvin Kneuer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 67th minute, Hermann List ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidelio Oesterreich was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Marvin Kneuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Schindler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marvin Kneuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Schindler in the 74th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Kick Daneben's Fidelio Oesterreich got control of the ball when Louis Bracke tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fidelio Oesterreich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Klingen in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Lukas Schindler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 92 played minutes Sonnhart FSV got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Springfeld. Sonnhart FSV were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
