When Heinrich Göller came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Wahnebergen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heinrich Göller couldn't finish the play. A collision led to SV Stahl Thale getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alfonso Burdach hit a great ball. Wahnebergen FC's Heinrich Göller got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Patrick-Marc Demitter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Gantenbrink came out of the goal and Immanuel Vieten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chris Reincke charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chris Reincke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Wahnebergen FC booed when SV Stahl Thale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Reincke didn't get a good kick on the ball.
