The audience was convinced that Carlos Malta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidelio Oesterreich was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Ray Schmidbauer kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, FC Kick Daneben's Götz Kaufhold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Carlos Malta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kick Daneben's Fidelio Oesterreich was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Malta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Fidelio Oesterreich made a huge save. FC Kick Daneben's Fidelio Oesterreich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kick Daneben from getting a goal against them. A collision led to SV Helsa getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Toralf Homann hit a great ball. Emmerich Gloz hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The long shot by Napoleon Tipinski in the 44th minute really tested Fidelio Oesterreich's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Lukas Schindler made the kick off in the second half. If Carlos Malta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Götz Kaufhold kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Fidelio Oesterreich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Malta's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Axel Uhl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Götz Kaufhold, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Axel Uhl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alonso Hegemann in the 70th minute. Fidelio Oesterreich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilja Weikl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Malta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Fidelio Oesterreich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Carlos Malta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidelio Oesterreich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Götz Kaufhold was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. In the 76th minute, Götz Kaufhold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, SV Helsa's Napoleon Tipinski broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 78th minute, Alonso Hegemann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Axel Uhl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Malta in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidelio Oesterreich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FC Kick Daneben supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Kick Daneben would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
