Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hanno Giurgin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Arpad Grobmaul's late challenge caught a Giebelscheid FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hanno Giurgin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Rihm having to interfere. Richard Rihm was a little too slow when Gabriel Eckert got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 15th minute, Bastian Peeger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Giebelscheid FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Hartmut Imhof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Rihm having to interfere. In the 20th minute Mario Effertz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fridun Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Giebelscheid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Immanuel Vieten came free, but Fridun Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Wahnebergen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arpad Grobmaul to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Giebelscheid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Immanuel Vieten came free, but Fridun Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Immanuel Vieten made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Hanno Giurgin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Rihm. Wahnebergen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hanno Giurgin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The Giebelscheid FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Arpad Grobmaul received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fridun Becker came out and tried to block the shot, but Arpad Grobmaul slotted it home off the left post making it 6-1 in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Giebelscheid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Immanuel Vieten came free, but Fridun Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Heinrich Göller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 70 minutes, Gabriel Eckert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fridun Becker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arpad Grobmaul in the 80th minute. If Hanno Giurgin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bastian Peeger hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Fridun Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Immanuel Vieten in the 87th minute of play. If Mario Effertz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Rihm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Eckert, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 93 played minutes Wahnebergen FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Effertz. 94 minutes into the match, Wahnebergen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Eckert came free, but Richard Rihm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Giebelscheid FC had won after a very even match.
