Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kosmas Rilke took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Sonnhart FSV's Vincent Klein got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sonnhart FSV! Manfred Hegemann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marvin Kneuer having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Sonnhart FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Kosmas Rilke came free, but Marvin Kneuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfred Hegemann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marvin Kneuer having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Heiko Zeiss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marvin Kneuer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marvin Kneuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kosmas Rilke in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Kosmas Rilke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marvin Kneuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Sonnhart FSV's Hermann List nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stuart Balint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Louis Bracke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopold Borger charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopold Borger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 44 minutes, Hermann List managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sonnhart FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermann List was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Polonia Gaschowitz's goal looked a bit too open when Hermann List came free, but Stuart Balint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermann List stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Polonia Gaschowitz defense, Ulf Stecker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stuart Balint. The Polonia Gaschowitz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stuart Balint should have stopped the shot. Marvin Kneuer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfred Hegemann in the 61st minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Vincent Klein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sonnhart FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vincent Klein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent Klein couldn't finish the play. Sonnhart FSV's Vincent Springfeld got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vincent Springfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Stuart Balint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hermann List had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermann List in the 87th minute of play forced Polonia Gaschowitz's goalkeeper Stuart Balint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Sonnhart FSV's goalkeeper Marvin Kneuer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfred Hegemann. When the referee ended the match the Sonnhart FSV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
