Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) HG Boggschdeif 04's Dirk Höhne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Höhne in the 3rd minute of play forced Engelrod FC's goalkeeper Immanuel Breitwieser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Dirk Höhne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Immanuel Breitwieser. Engelrod FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dirk Höhne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 8th minute, Leon Dorneth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hassan Assing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Immanuel Breitwieser having to interfere. Adnan Urbanczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothar Picht in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Scheelen in the 36th minute of play forced HG Boggschdeif 04's goalkeeper Adnan Urbanczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Sören Scheelen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Engelrod FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sören Scheelen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lothar Picht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Adnan Urbanczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lothar Picht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Engelrod FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. HG Boggschdeif 04 were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sören Scheelen was the one to do the kick off. Adnan Urbanczyk came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Engelrod FC's Lothar Picht. But to his dismay, Lothar Picht quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. During the 56th minute of the match Eckart Rohde completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eckart Rohde a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 59 minutes into the match, HG Boggschdeif 04's goal looked a bit too open when Lothar Picht came free, but Adnan Urbanczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Lothar Picht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adnan Urbanczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lothar Picht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dirk Höhne came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the HG Boggschdeif 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dirk Höhne couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Engelrod FC's Leon Dorneth got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, HG Boggschdeif 04's Volker Heide tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hassan Assing blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Immanuel Breitwieser having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Lothar Picht managed to get in a good position for a shot. Engelrod FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lothar Picht was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adnan Urbanczyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lothar Picht in the 95th minute of play forced HG Boggschdeif 04's goalkeeper Adnan Urbanczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Täve Augenstein charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Täve Augenstein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes HG Boggschdeif 04 got a freekick which was hit by Täve Augenstein. The HG Boggschdeif 04 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
