Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Winfried Sundmacher started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Ben Krückmann made a precise shot to the right of Gianni Wolsch. Eintracht Frankfurt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Hubert Drescher lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of AVRUPA FATIHI GALATASARAY booed when Eintracht Frankfurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Egon Gramenz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eintracht Frankfurt's Gianni Wolsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Krückmann in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Dustin Hasenstab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gianni Wolsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Köstner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Torge Röwe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AVRUPA FATIHI GALATASARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torge Röwe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gianni Wolsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ray Händel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dustin Hasenstab hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Edgar Brendlin's late challenge caught a AVRUPA FATIHI GALATASARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Brendlin helped the player get up and apologised. Edgar Brendlin kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Eintracht Frankfurt's Gianni Wolsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torge Röwe in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute when Winfried Sundmacher was dribbling his way through AVRUPA FATIHI GALATASARAY's defense he got a clear chance for a shot, but the shot went just outside the left post.

If Winfried Sundmacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gianni Wolsch came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by AVRUPA FATIHI GALATASARAY's Ben Krückmann. But to his dismay, Ben Krückmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ray Händel in the 61st minute of play forced Eintracht Frankfurt's goalkeeper Gianni Wolsch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Ray Händel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gianni Wolsch, passed just outside the right post. Gianni Wolsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Krückmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Winfried Sundmacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Winfried Sundmacher in the 73rd minute of play forced AVRUPA FATIHI GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Egon Gramenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Ben Krückmann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gianni Wolsch. Ben Krückmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Köstner got free with Gianni Wolsch in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Lino Köstner, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gianni Wolsch was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Winfried Sundmacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Gramenz having to interfere. Eintracht Frankfurt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Winfried Sundmacher in the 87th minute. Gianni Wolsch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ray Händel in the 88th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Winfried Sundmacher in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egon Gramenz saved AVRUPA FATIHI GALATASARAY from getting behind. Gianni Wolsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Händel in the 93rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AVRUPA FATIHI GALATASARAY's zone, Winfried Sundmacher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Gramenz came out of the goal and Winfried Sundmacher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AVRUPA FATIHI GALATASARAY's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
