Schwarzburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludwig Tepper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Kreissler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludwig Tepper in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tim Kreissler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ignaz Solder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Tim Kreissler was a little too slow when Ludwig Tepper got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-3. Tim Kreissler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignaz Solder in the 92nd minute. Schwarzburg's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
