In the 52ndth minute of the game Abdul Boehme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AVRUPA FATIHI GALATASARAY's Egon Gramenz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Egon Gramenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Langhammer in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Dario Langhammer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ray Händel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Fuhl having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Pablo Lütkebohmert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egon Gramenz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdul Boehme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerome Heerckes struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Egon Gramenz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gelsenkirchen United. When the final whistle went the supporters of AVRUPA FATIHI GALATASARAY were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Gelsenkirchen United side.
