With a little luck, FCC Wallendorf's Henrico Wexler got control of the ball when Nicolai Schwensen tried to sneak it across the goal line. SV Hohentengen's Edzard Schöne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Grieshaber in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FCC Wallendorf's zone, Nicolai Schwensen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrico Wexler came out of the goal and Nicolai Schwensen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Hopp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Enno Scherer managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCC Wallendorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Enno Scherer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edzard Schöne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicolai Schwensen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Nicolai Schwensen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, FCC Wallendorf's goalkeeper Henrico Wexler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolai Schwensen. Joel Grieshaber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 played minutes FCC Wallendorf got a freekick which was hit by Deniz Willkomm. Edzard Schöne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Grieshaber in the 92nd minute of play. Samuel Hopp kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Henrico Wexler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolai Schwensen in the 95th minute. When the match was over SV Hohentengen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FCC Wallendorf throughout the match.
