Rolf Althaus kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Renato Sahin's late challenge caught a FC Veitshöchheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renato Sahin helped the player get up and apologised. Renato Sahin hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Perez Zensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graham Wiedmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Herrmann Gutzler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perez Zensen didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Veitshöchheim's Graham Wiedmann shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute.

Perez Zensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Duttenhöfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herrmann Gutzler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirco Kitzmann having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Victor Duttenhöfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perez Zensen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Hollenbeck FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Duttenhöfer came free, but Perez Zensen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes, Hollenbeck FSV's Wolf Weigle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mirco Kitzmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hollenbeck FSV reached it. In the 75th minute Graham Wiedmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perez Zensen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Veitshöchheim booed when Hollenbeck FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wolf Weigle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Graham Wiedmann took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perez Zensen. Perez Zensen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The FC Veitshöchheim supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Veitshöchheim would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
