The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Samuel Hopp got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Hopp in the 7th minute of play forced Rottne's goalkeeper Lucien Ackermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 played minutes Rottne got a freekick which was hit by Uwe Witsch. Lucien Ackermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Hopp in the 10th minute of the match. Lucien Ackermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolai Schwensen in the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Nicolai Schwensen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Hohentengen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolai Schwensen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucien Ackermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolai Schwensen in the 24th minute of play. When Ralph Becker fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Hohentengen's protests and gave Ralph Becker a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rottne booed when SV Hohentengen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralph Becker didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Nicolai Schwensen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Hohentengen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolai Schwensen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolai Schwensen took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucien Ackermann. Lucien Ackermann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Samuel Hopp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Samuel Hopp made a precise shot to the right of Lucien Ackermann. Rottne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christoph Laukenmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicolai Schwensen scored 0-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucien Ackermann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Nicolai Schwensen came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the SV Hohentengen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolai Schwensen couldn't finish the play. Lucien Ackermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Hopp in the 59th minute of play. Samuel Hopp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucien Ackermann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as SV Hohentengen's Nicolai Schwensen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucien Ackermann. That made the score 0-4 after 64 minutes of play. Lucien Ackermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Hopp in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, Rottne's Lucien Ackermann got control of the ball when Ralph Becker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucien Ackermann made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Nicolai Schwensen sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolai Schwensen got free with Lucien Ackermann in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucien Ackermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Hopp in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Rottne's goalkeeper Lucien Ackermann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolai Schwensen. Rottne's Lucien Ackermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Hopp in the 87th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, SV Hohentengen's Nicolai Schwensen made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucien Ackermann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolai Schwensen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Lucien Ackermann made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolai Schwensen got free with Lucien Ackermann in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SV Hohentengen eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
