The supporters of Aalen IF booed when Rottne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Kull didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aalen IF's Fritz Labauve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guy Rust in the 20th minute of play.
