Nicolai Schwensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauritz Jan Esch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Hopp was the one to do the kick off. Ahmed Battke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauritz Jan Esch having to make a save. Achim Dick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Edzard Schöne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Hopp in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauritz Jan Esch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd match minute, Ostendorf FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leander Multhaupt to maneuver through the defense. Mauritz Jan Esch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolai Schwensen in the 63rd minute of the match. If Nico Albach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Renato Fieber's late challenge caught a Ostendorf FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
