The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christoph Polzin during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Hollenbeck FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoph Polzin to maneuver through the defense. If Victor Duttenhöfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Graham Wiedmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perez Zensen having to interfere. A collision led to Hollenbeck FSV getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Renato Sahin hit a great ball. If Victor Duttenhöfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mirco Kitzmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herrmann Gutzler in the 18th minute of the match. Perez Zensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Duttenhöfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Hollenbeck FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Duttenhöfer came free, but Perez Zensen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Hollenbeck FSV defense, Graham Wiedmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perez Zensen. The Hollenbeck FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perez Zensen should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Hollenbeck FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Duttenhöfer came free, but Perez Zensen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Duttenhöfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perez Zensen having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Graham Wiedmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Perez Zensen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Perez Zensen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Graham Wiedmann's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Hollenbeck FSV's Till Teucke got a free kick in the 55th minute. Perez Zensen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Duttenhöfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Mirco Kitzmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoph Polzin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoph Polzin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Duttenhöfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Perez Zensen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Victor Duttenhöfer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Perez Zensen. Hollenbeck FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Duttenhöfer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Graham Wiedmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perez Zensen having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Hollenbeck FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Duttenhöfer came free, but Perez Zensen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graham Wiedmann in the 79th minute of play forced Hollenbeck FSV's goalkeeper Perez Zensen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renato Sahin hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hollenbeck FSV's zone, Victor Duttenhöfer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perez Zensen came out of the goal and Victor Duttenhöfer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hollenbeck FSV's goalkeeper Perez Zensen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute Victor Duttenhöfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perez Zensen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Veitshöchheim's Victor Duttenhöfer got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Duttenhöfer in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perez Zensen saved Hollenbeck FSV from getting behind.
