Meikel Decker struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Esau Papaspyratos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kirchdorf A Inn. When Eberhard Pfannkuch fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kasztany's protests and gave Eberhard Pfannkuch a yellow card for diving instead. Hjalmar Witzke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eberhard Pfannkuch in the 20th minute of the match. If Meikel Decker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eberhard Bohnacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hjalmar Witzke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norman Schwantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esau Papaspyratos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Norman Schwantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirchdorf A Inn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norman Schwantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esau Papaspyratos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After a rather tough play, FC Kasztany's Eberhard Bohnacker got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ortwin Fehrmann hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Norman Schwantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
