An unexpectedly hard shot by Meikel Decker in the 4th minute of play forced Gloriious Bastards's goalkeeper Torsten Canel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Gloriious Bastards's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Schwantes came free, but Torsten Canel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Meikel Decker came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Kirchdorf A Inn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Meikel Decker couldn't finish the play. Hjalmar Witzke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Friedrich Rückert in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Robin Haug hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gloriious Bastards's Torsten Canel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norman Schwantes in the 14th minute of play. If Meikel Decker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Kirchdorf A Inn getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Kuno Vorwerk hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Friedrich Rückert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gloriious Bastards fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Friedrich Rückert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Hjalmar Witzke made a huge save. With a little luck, Kirchdorf A Inn's Hjalmar Witzke got control of the ball when Friedrich Rückert tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Kirchdorf A Inn were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Winfried Beyer to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Winfried Beyer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gloriious Bastards's supporters rose to their feet, but Winfried Beyer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hjalmar Witzke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gloriious Bastards's Torsten Canel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Gloriious Bastards from getting a goal against them. Kirchdorf A Inn's Norman Schwantes got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hjalmar Witzke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Winfried Beyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Hjalmar Witzke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winfried Beyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norman Schwantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Canel having to interfere. Norman Schwantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthias Kannegiesser during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gloriious Bastards booed when Kirchdorf A Inn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norman Schwantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Winfried Beyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Carl Terstege was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gloriious Bastards's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kirchdorf A Inn the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gloriious Bastards's Carl Terstege got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Friedrich Rückert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norman Schwantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Canel having to interfere. When Kirchdorf A Inn's Norman Schwantes in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gloriious Bastards's goalie prevented a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
