The wind increased when Ulrich Dohnanyi made the kick off in the second half. If Meikel Decker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laim United's Brian Borkmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norman Schwantes in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Kirchdorf A Inn's goalkeeper Hjalmar Witzke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magnus Joneschat. In the 63rd minute, Konstantin Papaspyratos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Meikel Decker in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brian Borkmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
