The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uno Eickhoff during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Michael Büssinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedikt Buch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrich Dohnanyi in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Laim United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conni Holler to maneuver through the defense. Laim United's Magnus Joneschat got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Sigmund Holzhäuser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Munster FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laim United the free kick. Sigmund Holzhäuser hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Ulrich Dohnanyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Benedikt Buch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Krämer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Juan Krämer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Borkmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 played minutes Munster FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Krämer. Magnus Joneschat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedikt Buch having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Munster FC's goalkeeper Benedikt Buch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magnus Joneschat. If Magnus Joneschat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulrich Dohnanyi might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedikt Buch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulrich Dohnanyi ran back to his position shaking his head. Magnus Joneschat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Benedikt Buch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Krämer in the 86th minute of play forced Laim United's goalkeeper Brian Borkmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rüdiger Pitz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 90 minutes into the match. A collision led to Munster FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Rüdiger Pitz hit a great ball. Stephan Drube didn't quite understand what happened when in the 92 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
