Sport Club Giresun's Ulrich Quinkert got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Scherzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berthold Strohmayer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albert Scherzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Ayim in the 10th minute of the match. Albert Scherzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Pestel, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Merten Jakobs hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Albert Scherzer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Pestel's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Leo Pestel put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Albert Scherzer. Tim Ayim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Albert Scherzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Leo Pestel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Scherzer. Sport Club Giresun's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Pestel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Tim Ayim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Albert Scherzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Scherzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Ayim in the 38th minute of play. In the 44th minute Tim Ayim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Scherzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siegmund Herrenkind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrich Quinkert in the 46th minute of play. The Sport Club Giresun players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulrich Quinkert made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Merten Jakobs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Club Giresun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg the free kick. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Tim Ayim took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Albert Scherzer to make any attempt to save it. In the 64th match minute, TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berthold Strohmayer to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulrich Quinkert in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siegmund Herrenkind prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Leo Pestel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Tim Ayim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Scherzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Pestel in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, Sport Club Giresun's Albert Scherzer got control of the ball when Tim Ayim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albert Scherzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Pestel in the 82nd minute of the match. Leo Pestel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrich Quinkert in the 91st minute of play forced TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg's goalkeeper Siegmund Herrenkind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Leo Pestel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Scherzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Hartwig Krumbachner hit a great ball. When the match was over TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sport Club Giresun throughout the match.
